IMSA Work Zone Temporary Traffic Control Technician Certification (or as approved by the IMSA Section Certification Chair)

This two-day seminar covers the basic concepts and terminology associated with signalized traffic control devices and systems and is designed for the entry-level technician who has had some prior training or experience in electrical technology. Topics covered include: principles of operation and the primary electrical details of cabinet wiring and components; equipment, methods and materials of signal system construction; the basics of traffic signal design, maintenance and legal issues.
